Wolfgang Jasper - Owner/Photographer

With over 40 years of experience, Wolfgang brings a unique blend of art and design to his photography.  He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and taught at VCU and at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts for many years.  He is also an active member of the Virginia Professional Photographers' Association (VPPA) and the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

When he is not in the portrait studio he is in his home studio painting, drawing or sculpting or spending time with his wife, Beth, and their two dogs, lovable Roscoe and energetic Chiisai.

Beth Jasper - Owner

Holding a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, Beth brings her artistic sensibilities into the business of Wolfgang Jasper Photography. When you come into our studio, you will be greeted by her warm and friendly nature and will meet her during your Planning and Design consultation, portrait session and View and Choose appointments. She guides each person through the entire studio portraiture experience, which is customized for each client.

Like Wolfgang, Beth is also a fine artist, specializing in oil painting and charcoals. She is adding digital art to her repertoire. She enjoys yoga, walks in the woods and spending time with Wolfgang, her dogs, bird and bunnies.

Jean Lua -  Studio/Office Manager

We were so lucky in 2013 when Jean joined our team! Jean brings a unique blend of photographic and business knowledge to our team each day. You will see her managing our daily operations, assisting Wolfgang during photography sessions, and writing entries for our blog too!

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in HR and 15 years of leadership for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. A member of the VPPA and PPA, she spends her free time photographing the world around her or learning about the art of photography. She lives in Glen Allen with her loving husband Rick, and her spunky dog, Kira, and lovable cat, Callie.

Elena Hennighausen - Bookkeeper
